I propose that a property for the number of sigma bond(s) and the number of pi bond(s) for a molecule be created. O=C=O (Q1997) has two sigma bonds and two pi bonds. H-O-H (Q283) has two sigma bonds and zero pi bonds. Cl-N=O (Q419266) has two sigma bonds and one pi bond. C≡N (Q55076544) has one sigma bond and two pi bonds. The values for this property could be very helpful in finding the amount of sigma and/or pi bonds in larger molecules, like sucrose (Q4027534), sucralose (Q410209), and cocaethylene (Q4586731).
