Logo of Wikidata

Welcome to Wikidata, 31.200.13.45!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Best regards!

Thank you for temporarily blocking this person who is practically stalking me. I have just created a new user account User:Harashim (User talk:Harashim), in order to contribute under a permanent user name. What happens if this person vandalizes the same Wikidata pages under a new IP address, which start with the number 5.? Is temporarily protecting all these Wikidata pages possible? I suspect this person will vandalize any Wikidata page I might edit. 31.200.13.45 16:53, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I protected all of those pages. Feel free to contact me directly or post to the admin noticeboard. If need be, we can escalate. —Justin (koavf)TCM 18:23, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. 31.200.13.45 18:25, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
