Duplicate citations with qualifiers edit

Hey Harej, great to see Citationgraph bot in the wild again! The clean up seems to be going well but I've just noticed a little issue, it still doesn't seem to account for qualifiers (see previous discussions about series ordinals and duplicates), I came across it here, where the item has duplicate citations on purpose. In that case it's because the references have different index numbers but I would imagine that the same issue would arise for items with CiTO annotations. Could you adapt the bot so that it checks for any qualifiers before merging citations? I could lend a hand if you need, I've been working with Wikibase integrator recently. Cheers! Thank you for the report Aluxosm. While it was one-time job, to fix errors caused by my bot, this will be good to know if I need to do something like this again in the future. Harej (talk) 04:00, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bot flag not active? edit

I think you may need to set is_bot=True in the initialisation code for Citationgraph bot. When I filter bots out from this changes list, the bot edit still appears (see 21 November 2022). Hope this helps! Aluxosm (talk) 11:52, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know! I have set the flag and it should be in effect for future edits. Harej (talk) 03:57, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sitelinking Wikispecies templates edit

I just saw your Mastodon post about this on a whim. Interestingly enough, given that I would have thought this is a very niche idea, I actually started on this a couple months ago, and accumulated a fair amount of code on this subject. I didn't post it (though now I think I'll try to do so sometime in the next few days), but I wrote a parser that can fully parse about half of the reference templates, as well as some code to compare them with the Wikidata items. I was being very conservative in making matches, so I made a lot fewer than yours (only about 12,000).

One of my ultimate goals was to make use of the fairly common wikilinking in the reference templates to resolve author name string (P2093) statements into author (P50); now that you added a bunch of new links, I'm interested to see how that goes. Vahurzpu (talk) 02:29, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Incomplete properties you are creating edit

Thanks for creating some of the properties that I proposed, but you are not fully completing them. You are neglecting to put the Wikidata property in the subject item of the property, and you are not including any property constraints, which are necessary. You are also not putting the property into the example items found in the proposal. I am having to revise each of the properties that you've created to complete them. Azerbaijani National Encyclopedia ID (P11848) edit

Hello, Harej. Thank you for creating this property. It's a useful addition to Wikidata in my opinion. There's a small issue: the website doesn't support https for some reasons, but the property is limited to it. So, the links don't work, like this. Any idea? This edit removing the "s" seems to be the correct decision. Harej (talk) 15:16, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
