Re:Sophie Anderson

edit

You can see that it didn't give an exact date but a range, using the qualifiers earliest date and latest date. It clearly reflects the current knowledge: that she died at an unknown date at the end of 2023. Removing it, as you did, gives the wrong information: that she is still alive, when she is not. Günther Frager the problem is I've been contacted by someone on my Wikipedia talk page - en:User talk:Helper201#Sophie Anderson - that she died on 30 November 2023, which is outside these days. Sources seem to vary but no reliable one seems to give a specific date. Is there any way we can state she died on the Wikidata page without specifying a date? The date of an event can have any precision (day, month, year, decade, etc). The previous value was "December 2023" (month precision), but if there is no precise information about it, we can use "2023" (year precision) and use the range 17 November 2023 (the sources state she died after her boyfriend) - 5 December 2023 (when the news was reported). That, I assume would address your concerns. Günther Frager (talk) 21:24, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, go with that then. Helper201 (talk) 00:42, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
