A belated welcome to Wikidata, HickoryOughtShirt?4!

You've been here a while, so thank you for your contributions. As you probably know, Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Here are some pages you may find useful:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Best regards!

But at https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q87689358&action=history you added a pointer to the en.wiki article on James T Willerson, to a wikidata item about a scholerly article on James T Willerson. I've created a new item for the person - James T. Willerson (Q104263587) - and pointed the various academic papaers &c dealing with him to that article using main subject (P921) - see https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Q104263587 . --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:03, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tagishsimon, Oops. Would you also mind merging Q97581967 and Q96185892 HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 02:22, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Done. --Tagishsimon (talk) 17:44, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
