mass deleting unsourced gender statements is ill advised. it adversely impacts gender gap work.
better to form a living people data improvement quality circle. it is harder to add citations, if no gender statement is there; i.e. bad data is better than no data, as it can be improved. for example, [1]
it is unclear that gender by rubric is harmful, although a quality circle could respond to complaints, which currently is broken. --198.24.21.121 19:20, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- The person who created this batch reverted the rest of the similar batch edits they had made because mass-creating gender statements based solely on labels is ill-advised. Gender gap work is important, but should not be done carelessly and at the risk of misgendering people.
