Wikidata:Events/ELAG 2016
At the European Library Automation Group Conference 2016 there was a workshop on Wikidata, entitled "Abandon your database, use Wikidata instead!" led by Jakob Voß. This collects information and results of the workshop. Additional content such as slides can be found in a GitHub repository and possibly in an Etherpad at <https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/elag2016>.
Preparation edit
Before travelling to ELAG please create an account in Wikidata, Wikipedia or any other Wikimedia wiki (it's single sign-on) or check your existing account. Then log in, visit this page and add yourself to the following list! Finally authorize the WikiData Remote editor (WikiDaR) to use it for editing Wikidata. Try it with one of the Wikidata Games!
