Forms

edit

The minimum set of forms that should be present on different types of lexemes--where each row and column header represents a grammatical feature on that form.

Here, pausal form (Q117262361) denotes the word forms which do not take a case ending due to occurring at pausa, the end of a prosodic unit. The citation forms of lexemes in Modern Standard and Classical Arabic can be considered as pausal forms.[1]

context form (Q118465097) denotes the form of an adjective which is not explicitly marked for definiteness which may occur when it is embedded in a phrase in which it agrees with an attributive noun which follows it. Like the construct state (Q1641446) forms of nouns, they do not occur at pausa.[2]
