Motivation edit
The ECO code seems to be the reference in the domain, and would allows to browse instances of chess opening (Q103632) in a more structured way. In some cases, it seems to be more of a classification than an identifier, with a single ECO code applying to several variations, so the uniqueness constrain should probably not be applied.
