Motivation
editThese codes are assigned to every NCAA member institution, and every educational institution that a NCAA member plays a match against. They are used on stats.ncaa.org, and they are also heavily used internally within the NCAA and its member institutions (see http://www.ncaa.org/championships/statistics/ncaa-media-coordination-and-statistics-information-sids for example).
