Motivation edit

Shipbucket is a long established and active colaborative website that aims to produce drawings of ships (and latterly aircraft, weapons etc) to a uniform style and scale. This makes them very suitable for comparative use. About 10000 drawings have been produced under a non-commercial CC licence. Its easy to deduce the actual file name from the flat database structure, allowing easy creation of drawing lists from WD SPARQL queries. The ships are under a drawings hierarchy, other things under a vehicles hierarchy, hence the top level URL format Vicarage (talk) 19:25, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
