Motivation

TOBuilt (est. 2006) is a crowd-sourced open database of images and information about buildings and structures in Toronto. Items are added by members of the Toronto branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO) [1]. Each item includes photographs, dates, historical information, architects of record, references, etc. The database is an excellent and growing resource for publicly accessible architectural information about the largest city (by population size) in Canada. Discussion
