Motivation

edit

In these days where everything is becoming electric (cars, etc.) and where we have batteries everywhere (phones, laptops, etc.), it seemed necessary for Wikidata to have a battery life property.

PS: it's my first time proposing a property and I'm not that familiar with Wikidata, so I hope I did everything right... La coince (talk) 20:58, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Wd-Ryan: Agreed, Apple uses the terms "XX hours of normal use", which it defines in small print, so I have fine tuned the definition to reflect that ("under normal use"). La coince (talk) 12:45, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Conditional support For these numbers to be meaningful, we would need some kind of authoritative source. A computer's battery life can range widely depending on power saving settings and how the device is used. Dexxor (talk) 17:45, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
