Task/s: Linking articles to Wikidata items using interwikidata.py.
Code: phab:diffusion/PWBC/browse/master/scripts/interwikidata.py
Function details:
- I'm using
pwb.py interwikidata -clean -cc
and plan to usepwb.py interwikidata -create -cc
. - I'm doing this cleanup on some newly created wikis, migrating old interlanguage links to wikidata (such as [1]), although I hope to expand this task to small and medium-sized wikis sometimes.
- As a PWB bot, a put_throtle limitting the number of edits per minute can be set and
-maxlag
is also supported and used. - This bot can be run through WMF Tool Labs, but for starters I'll run it from my CMD console manually monitoring the changes.
Thanks. — MarcoAurelio (talk) 15:24, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm running a slow test run and will notify when I've achieved 25 edits so they can be reviewed or further test run is needed. Thanks. — MarcoAurelio (talk) 14:17, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- I have no idea why this happened and I worry to have to revert more changes. As such I'd like to close and withdraw this nomination since it seems interwikidata.py does not seem to be working very well. — MarcoAurelio (talk) 15:26, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
