Task/s: From ru.Wikisource articles moving the in-text interlinks (to other articles of ru.Wikisource and all other wikiprojects) to the subject items of these articles. And linking the items of articles with them subject items. Such interlinks are like in-text interwiki-links, but perhaps more problematic and are in-text dublicates of section of items (links to Wikidata topic item, Commons, Wikipedia, other projects, sources, etc.).
Code: https://github.com/vladiscripts/ws_interlinker_via_wikidata. Python, using Pywikibot as framework.
Function details: Edits of main subject (P921) and described by source (P1343), its values moving from ru.Wikisources. The script have 2 parts: works by authors' pages and by articles' pages. There the list of links to encyclopedies of ru.Wikisources: s:ru:Module:Другие источники, wikiprojects: s:ru:Module:Навигация-мини. Have some limitions: don't work for disambigs, don't create new items and skip interlinks without items, don't work on very short articles, skip if subject topic have not ru.Wikipedia in sitelinks.
At the moment several thousand edits have been made in the development process. Example work for an article of encyclopedia Wikisource: in WS, in article's item, in subject's item.
I have the bot in ru.Wikisource (~ 1,140,000 edits at today) and in ru.Wikipedia (~ 79,000 edits), also I have two other bots there, and in Wikidata have on this account 54,000 edits (most because renaming pages in Wikisource and Wikipedia). --Vladis13 (talk) 05:50, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- It looks good to me. Waiting for the community input, but I am going to approve the bot in a couple of days assuming there have been no objections raised.--Ymblanter (talk) 19:01, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Just checking: @Vladis13:, are you still around and interested in the approval of this bot?--Ymblanter (talk) 18:54, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, of course. --Vladis13 (talk) 22:19, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
