Hebrew template

Hi. Could someone please take a look at the code of voy:he:סוריה, and add the Warningbox template page used in the article to Template:Warning (Q5528794)? It Is Me Here t / c 12:21, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Testers welcomed for new feature - Special:PageMigration

As a Google Summer of Code Intern, I have been working on the Mass Migration tools project for Wikimedia. We are now ready with a minimal working product. The tool helps translators and translation administrators import the old translations into the Translate Extension.

An instance of the same has been set up on labs. You can find some useful instructions on the main page.

Please test the tool and report bugs/suggestions using the link provided on the main page itself. You can have a look at the tracking bug to check already reported bugs.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers. BPositive (talk) 13:40, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Translation tags and updates to Help pages

Hello translators, can someone help me understand what needs to be taken into account while updating and adding to Help pages, for example Help:Editing? I've been reading through the documentation on the translation extension page and it sounds like I don't actually need to worry (i.e. the software will add new markers) and translations will remain unaffected by my changing stuff around as long as I move and delete markers as needed. Can someone confirm if this is correct? If not, what best practices/workflows I should be made aware of for making this an effective collaboration? thanks! Thepwnco (talk) 21:17, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi Thepwnco. Yes, what you say is correct. If you add a new paragraph or you edit the content of an existing one, you do not have to care about the markers. Only if you move or delete a section, you have to move or delete the associated marker accordingly. Some tips to make it easy for translation: do not use slang, but a simple language and short sentences. Use of {{Ll}} and {{Glossary}} which link to pages in user's language. If you want, yuo can do some edits and then we see if everything is okay. --β16 - (talk) 09:11, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick reply - I have gone ahead and made changes to the page and everything seems to be still intact. Thepwnco (talk) 19:13, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes, good work :) --β16 - (talk) 08:38, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
