Introduction edit
In recent years UK Higher Education Libraries have developed a growing interest in the role of Wikidata to broaden the visibility and accessibility of unique institutional resources. This page aims to be a dedicated space for an emerging Community of Practice across the UK GLAM sector to support:
- Discussion of best practice for sharing GLAM metadata with Wikidata
- Signposting useful resources
- Sharing knowledge, expertise, documentation and work completed or in progress
- Collaborative working
- Exploring connections in our data to make sense of combined cultural heritage
Approach edit
This is a shared community space, dedicated to Wikidata work and projects across the UK GLAM sector, and all are welcome to make use of the Discussion page to contribute to or initiate discussion.
