The event is now complete. 200 tickets have been released, which is our maximum limit.

Please note that being fully registered on Eventbrite (not only waitlist) is required to access the event. No attendee without ticket will be allowed in the event venue.


The entrance ticket for WikidataCon is free of charge. It includes:

  • entrance for the 2 days of conference (October 28th and 29th)
  • access to the location and all the events
  • access to catering, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks during the 2 days of conference
  • access to the social event on Friday evening (location, food and two drink coupons)
  • WikidataCon goodies

It doesn't include:

  • traveling expenses: attendees have to book and pay their traveling to Berlin
  • accommodation: attendees have to book and pay their accommodation
  • alcoholic drinks

Depending on your country of residence, you may need to get a visa to be able to travel to Germany. Please note that the visa approval process can be long and time consuming. We recommend that you register and start with the visa application process as early as possible. Depending on your country of origin, you need to get an appointment at the German embassy or consulate. It is advisable to get one as soon as possible. Wikimedia Deutschland can provide from help for VISA applications. You can check the related field in the registration form, more informations will be asked.
