Abstract

Many people who read a lot use reference management software (Q1403556) to keep track of what they read and to have the relevant bibliographic information at hand when they need it, e.g. while citing the sources in a scholarly or Wikipedia article. Here, I will explore how Wikidata can be used for this purpose, examining the benefits and limits of using tools like inventaire, Scholia, Fatameh and others for this purpose.

What will attendees take away from this session?
