Latin America and Caribbean grants

All Wikimedia Affiliates from Latin America and the Caribbean, extended to non-regional groups that work in/with Latin America and the Caribbean communities, are welcome to submit proposals for this WikidataCon 2021 Grant.

Office Hours

We are available to answer any questions you may have to facilitate the submission process. For that, you can send us emails or schedule meetings. In order to cover the different time zones, we reserved the following times for this purpose until the deadline for submissions (September 12nd):

Mondays at 11pm (UTC)
Wednesdays at 2pm (UTC)
Fridays at 9pm (UTC)
Saturdays at 2pm (UTC)

Selected proposals - Final publication of results

Over the next few days, we will be contacting those responsible for the proposals to arrange the details of documentation and bank transfers.

Reports

As previously agreed, all Affiliates that received the WikidataCon 2021 Grant for Wikimedia Affiliates in Latin America and the Caribbean, must finish the process by filling out an on-wiki report describing their events and achievements. They are also expected to send all their receipts via email to Wiki Movimento Brasil by October 28th.

The idea behind this report is to be a space where you can tell us about your experience on organising the pre-conference events. We also want to know your thoughts about the Grant process and the Wikidata ecosystem.
