Why this new project doesn't use the usual "Wikidata: Wikiproject XXX" title structure ? Everything related to use of sources in WD should be put in the same page in order to avoid any discrepancy. So if a portal is needed, this should be Help:Sources which currently defined as the main source of information about use of source in WD. Snipre (talk) 22:14, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Snipre: One reason is that there are already projects and forums for Wikidatans. Wikidata:Sources used to redirect to Help:Sources. There is no portal space here, and if portals are the pages intended to help newcomers, we can think about that function.
- In other words, the intention was not to add to the community pages, but to start some material that would be more helpful to, for example, librarians who didn't know much about Wikidata. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:23, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
