@Fierodelveneto Thanks! I’m afraid the first ping didn’t work, the user mention has to be added in the same edit as a signature, otherwise it doesn’t generate a notification :(
The templates look pretty good to me, I’m just a bit confused by the verb template, which skips from form 7 to form 14. Is that an accident or are there some forms missing (maybe another tense)? Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 20:38, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Lucas Werkmeister: Hi, I practically copied the model from another language and converted it into the Venetian language. Now I check what is missing and fix. Thanks for the warning and heartfelt thanks for your kind reply. --Fierodelveneto (talk) 21:24, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Fierodelveneto I just looked a bit closer at the templates and noticed a few issues: in the verb template, not all the examples seem to use the same verb (cantar/tornando/fato?), which seems confusing (since users are expected to add forms of the same word everywhere); also, several of the examples have the placeholder at the beginning of the example sentence, which we generally avoid so that users aren’t misled into capitalizing the word when it shouldn’t be (in the zerùndio example, the placeholder is even capitalized, when it probably shouldn’t be); and the adverb example is missing forms completely (I’m guessing it will only have one form, but it should have at least that). Also, just to double-check, is it correct that the adjective template has no comparative/superlative forms? (It could be correct, I just want to make sure.) @Lucas Werkmeister: — Translation: Google Translate — hi, I double checked. At the moment everything is correct. There would still be other forms to add, but I saw that both in Italian and in Spanish these forms are missing, so for the moment I would say that it may be enough, so that in the meantime we can start creating these forms in the Venetian language. The insertion of the forms is quite complex and the errors do not stand out immediately, so before delving into all the existing forms in the Venetian language, it would be better to start from the base and add the remaining ones at a later time, as I think I understand they want to do also in Italian and Spanish. What do you think? Thank you for your availability. Best regards. Fierodelveneto (talk) 19:27, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Fierodelveneto The zerùndio form still begins with the placeholder ( [Cantando] co Bepi.) – is it possible to rephrase the sentence to have some other word first? (Maybe something like So' [cantando] co Bepi, if I understand the example correctly?) Similarly, the inperativo form starts with the placeholder ([torna] cuà) and also still uses a different verb (I assume torna is not a form of cantar). And the adverb template is still missing a form – every template must have at least one form, even if it’s the only one. Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 21:22, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
