Could I use identical label and description to create different records?

Could I use identical label and description to create different records?

I tried to do so but only the first one record can be created both have label and description, others only have label but no description. Hkbulibdmss (talk) 01:16, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

The Wikibase API forbids items from sharing the same label and description. Items can have the same label and no description, or the same label and different descriptions but they cannot be the same. RPI2026F1 (talk) 01:24, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

Edit comments for CSV file syntax stopped working?

Help:QuickStatements#CSV file syntax with edit comments in columns with the title "#" as described in that section on the other side seems to have stopped working. They still show in the edit preview of the QuickStatements version 2 interface, but not in the final edit summary. An example are the edits of Batch #123011. The comment isn't used in the edit summary for this edit. Could anyone make them work recently? Thanks in advance, --Marsupium (talk) 22:39, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

Your best bet is to leave an issue at https://github.com/magnusmanske/quickstatements/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen. RPI2026F1 (talk) 04:29, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

login button covered by another element

I can't reach the login button to QuickStatements because it's covered by a button which reads 'Deine letzten Stapel'. Greetz Bukk (talk) 11:20, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

ok, it's working again. 104.151.78.153 08:19, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Value case insensitive

Hello, I'm new so this might be a me thing. I've added some twitter accounts via QS via Open Refine, however when my values are sometimes in a different case to existing Wikidata values. Leading to duplicate values get added to Wikidata. Is there something I should be doing to only add values after a case insensitive match fails? YzG9Rux2 (talk) 10:55, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

QuickStatements will duplicate values. You have to make sure that data you're adding is deduplicated. For example, if you run the same QuickStatements code twice, it will make two statements. RPI2026F1 (talk) 14:35, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
