Annotation and comment field edit

From the creation discussion, it seems clear that this wasn't meant to be a general field to annotate or comment about a person's award. I included this in the description. --- Jura 06:30, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Award rationale edit

This should be the one as given by the organization that gave out the award. In case it isn't clear, I added this to the description. --- Jura 06:30, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Rationale for the award edit

Can we use this for the rationale for the entire award, at the entry for the award. And not just the individual award in a given year for the person who received it? --RAN (talk) 23:22, 8 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@RAN I support this proposal. The very popular awards are self defined by its name, but a [short] rationale would help for most of the awards. Amadalvarez (talk) 06:23, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Copyright concerns edit

@Andrawaag, I notice that in the property proposal, the issue of copyright appears to have never come up. For longer award rationales, I suspect that it might be an issue to just copy the text and stick a CC license on it. Thoughts?
