A librarian should not remove, or allow to be removed by a binder, the cover or pages bearing information relevant to the date of publication, the contents of the work or its parts, or the day or dates of receipt by the library.

勧告21D. 日付情報の保存
司書は，公表の日付に関連する情報，その著作物もしくはその分冊の目次，図書館の受領日あるいは受領日付などを載せている表紙やページを，取り払ったり製本者が取り払うのを許可したりすべきではない．
