Agnes Lounibos. Petaluma, California; February 24, 1969. A Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow for Agnes G. Lounibos, 88, who died Saturday evening in a local convalescent hospital where she had been for more than 6 months. Mrs. Lounibos was born in San Francisco and married her late husband, John B. Lounibos there in 1902. They came to Petaluma after the 1906 earthquake. She was the last of seven children in her family. Mrs. Lounibos was the mother of John and Leroy Lounibos, prominent local attorneys; Mrs. Marie Greerty, Martinez; Mrs. Mabel Spridgen, Santa Rosa; Mrs. Alice Martinelli, Petaluma and Edwin C. Lounibos, Solano Beach. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be from the Sorensen Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. and the Mass will be said at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 8 tonight. Interment will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery. Friends are asked to give to their favorite charities. (English)
