Ambiguity on VIAF
editThe VIAF item 2857599 is ambiguous because contains references about both Astydamas the Younger (Q11907040) and Astydamas the Elder (Q10973743). I suppose this ambiguity comes from the item 284467440 which now has been merged with (and redirects to) the first one. --Horcrux (talk) 14:03, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Horcrux: So, as far as I can see the situation has evolved in a better way:
- Astydamas the Younger (Q11907040): has https://viaf.org/viaf/2857599/, which is now perfectly OK (Wikidata OK + NTA seems OK)
- Astydamas the Elder (Q10973743): has https://viaf.org/viaf/197149294433980522784/, which is mostly OK (Wikidata OK, BIBSYS don't know, GND and PERSEUS seem to be mainly related to Astydamas the Elder (Q10973743) although two aliases ("Astydamas, Enkel des Morsimos" and "Astydamas, Iunior") are inserted wrongly
- I would leave the situation as it is now, hoping in a little refinement in GND and Perseus. --Epìdosis 18:29, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
