Edit error

edit

I just tried to remove the Cherokee (chr) link to [1] because ᏓᏆ means whale, not baleen whale, per the Cherokee Consortium word list[2]. But I got this: "Could not remove due to an error. The save has failed. Warning: The action you are about to take will remove a sitelink from this item. Sitelinks should only be removed if the page in question has been deleted, or if that link is being moved into another item. If you are trying to do neither of these, please do not submit this edit again." Why is my edit invalid, since the word ᏓᏆ would also include toothed whales, and appears to be an incorrect match? Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 17:22, 6 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done You could still remove it, it was suggested nowhere that your edit is invalid. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 08:17, 7 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Matěj Suchánek. I think the message suggests that the rationale for my edit was invalid. It should be changed to include the scenario (incorrect match to a concept) that was just fixed, in my opinion. Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 23:01, 7 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

About classification

This is not a subordo, but a parvordo. Nowdays the Cetacea infraordo belongs to the Artiodactyla ordo. DenesFeri (talk) 09:00, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
