Please link the new one en:List of fifth intervals to the wikidata instead of the old one en:Fifth (musical interval). --吳傲雪 (talk) 18:45, 22 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I suppose the list is good at Q17079683, it's different type of item. --Infovarius (talk) 11:49, 23 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I've gone through several other articles of different languages.

The English page en:List of fifth intervals talks about perfect fifth, augmented and diminished fifth.

For example, the Dutch, the German, and the Chinese page mentions all three common variations.

In Dutch article nl:Kwint, there are Reine kwint, Verminderde kwint and Overmatige kwint.

In German article de:Quinte, there are reine Quinte, verminderte Quinte, übermäßige Quinte.

In Chinese article zh:五度音程, there are 純五度、增五度和減五度, which are just the equivalents.

In es:Quinta, ru:Квинта, pt:Quinta_(música), all three sorts of fifth are mentioned.

Also in fr:Quinte, both perfect (quinte juste) and diminished (quinte diminuée) are mentioned.

I think en:List of fifth intervals should still go with other pages linked to Q224169.

I think you're probably thinking about the differences between:

  • about only perfect fifth, Q12372854
  • about different kinds of fifth, which I suppose to stay hereQ224169

I believe this. I just ask why it is called a "list"? Why not to rename it to en:Fifth (musical interval)? Because lists are usually modelled as separate items (as it is now). --Infovarius (talk) 19:40, 23 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've started a new topic here. --吳傲雪 (talk) 16:08, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Infovarius@吳傲雪 please state concrete edit-request. By the way, the list and concrete concept (i.e. quint or fifth) cannot be merged, if this is a question yet Estopedist1 (talk) 10:43, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
