"Preceded by' statement

The 'preceded by' statement is misleading as that only applies within the Roman Catholic tradition, however, a saint can be a number of religions, and not necessarily preceded by such a ritual. Removing that.  — billinghurst sDrewth 15:03, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is not an universal application and would only be relevant to saints of the roman catholic church, so please remove it. Otherwise the article will need to be split apart.  — billinghurst sDrewth 14:21, 9 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
