In the languages I've checked it is described as a extinct genus not a species. it possible that there is only a species in the genus, but the item should refer by default to the genus, that's a more generic concept. If some languages want a article about the species (maybe in addition to that about the genus, but this would be complicated), they should not link that here. This is creating some confusion.
