Typical voting system for parliamentary chambers where a list of a party or coalition is voted on. In this case, the application of a formula on the number of votes determines the number of positions or seats obtained by the party list. This list can be open or closed. This aspect is indifferent to the infobox, as it only shows the final results, but not how the elected deputies have been selected.
Image processing: The political party logo is displayed. Below it, there is a button to switch the image of the lead candidate for the party list, if it has been informed with the qualifier P210 in the corresponding P726.
NOTE: the "button to switch" requires an script in platform or personal common.js. If it is not installed, both images are displayed simultaneously, one above to other (see instructions in {{Switcher2}} documentation).
May be a generic name (general elections) or more especific (general elections in France).
Previous/next elections for same type and same jurisdiction.
In Infobox: IMPORTANT: It is used in all calculations of differences in results. It is shown in the bottom bar with the series. If the name contains a 4 digits year, it will show as a link.
Specific territory object of the elections.
In Infobox: Territory flag is shown at bottom bar with election serie. It gets flag image (P41) from "jurisdiction" item.
Indicates the number of days the election campaign lasts before the election day. As this is a generic property, it must be accompanied by the qualifier P518 = election campaign (Q11642595) to specify its meaning.
Unique election date for this type of election. It may be replaced by a combination of start time (P580) + end time (P582), when there is a voting period.
In infobox: At the beginning, in the general data. An icon is also displayed next to it, highlighting if they are just called (), we're in campaign () or today is the election day ().
It shows what have been the next direct electoral processes following these elections. In the example, we see the investiture (Q167407) of the president via indirect suffrage and the constitution of the government of the legislature. When the qualifier object of statement has role (P3831) = investiture (Q167407) is entered indicating that it is the appointment of the president elected from these elections, the infotable shows the presidential relief.
In the infobox: Shown at the bottom, just before the bar of the election series.
For this type of election is a multiple value, as all those parties that get seats are elected, depending on their votes. The only qualifier required (after election) is number of seats in assembly (P1410). The rest of the information is obtained from the equivalent input in P726 property.
In the infobox: Shows the number of seats in the candidate list.
running mate (P6149), in those cases where the election is made as a tandem president-vice president, usual in direct suffrage.
sRGB color hex triplet (P465), short name (P1813), and logo image (P154) are values usually obtained from the political party item. However, some temporary coalitions do not have a specific item and are linked to a specific party but need to use other acronyms or background color or logo only for an election. These values located as qualifiers allow to show a real image without having to change the item nor having to create a new one for a singular case.
