General

• Show effectively generated wikitext (in collapse boxes?)
  • Create a small wrapper template {{wrappedItemLink | item | lang | wikitext}}, where lang can be en or switch, and setting wikitext selects a tag:nowiki environment with a langswitch emitted if lang=switch. Later add property.
    • Some formatting issues -- LangSwitch won't indent; can't remove the spaces and newlines from Authority Control
    • 'Property' should be added to the switch case; also options to get WikiSource and WikiQuote
• Add language choice gadget to page (&lang=xx doesn't work)
  • Check what happens to links in smaller languages (in fact, per original template, only the name itself is LangSwitch'd)
• Should languages fallback to Commons gallery, before Wikidata ?

Specific

• "Authority control" summary needed -- E.S. Curtis summary currently hardcoded, and replicated each time.
  • LCCN needs to be fixed -- insert slashes Ought to give more warnings, not fail silently
  • ISNI needs to be fixed -- remove spaces (use URL?) ISNI now working for Creator, but not for Authority
• Nationalities missing
  • Partially fixed by using 2-letter country codes. But still failing for English, Roman, Ancient Greek, Persian.
• Wikisource & wikiquote links missing, (will have language issue that may need addressing?)
  • @Billinghurst: Now in place, though the code is not the best. Needs better error trapping if neither an en nor a default is specified to fall back to (eg Cezanne)
• "Alternative names" missing
• Work period (all? eg van Gogh)
• Work location (all? eg van Gogh)
• Dual places of death (van Gogh)
• Not coping with choice of images (al-Khwarizmi) [resolved by making one image higher rank]
• Dates (Cicero, al-Khwarizmi, Aeschylus)
  • BC not picked up (Commons uses c:Template:Other date)
  • Bare year dates not picked up (day of birth given as Jan 1)
  • Approximate year dates not picked up
• no link for Eleusis? (Aeschylus)
• picks up where field of work entered as an occupation
• Linkback should fail better when Commons Creator page (P1472) not set

• Sortkey field is missing
• A production version should allow local overloading
