Your question edit

Hi WiseWoman,

I tried to answer the question you had on this talkPage.
Hope you're satisfied enough, if not ask a real expert, especially for Q#1 where I just entered an educated guess. Klaas `Z4␟` V17:10, 27 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Explaining a revert edit

Hey, I just reverted a subclass statement you added to street (Q79007). Just wanted to explain that this was a fine edit, however it's already a subclass of geographical feature (Q618123) as a subclass of road (Q34442). You can see that from this graph: https://w.wiki/UCA. I use the classification script by TomT0m. --SilentSpike (talk) 16:50, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for explaining. I had added it because in Juridicum (Bonn) (Q1304258), located on street (P669) Adenauerallee (Q355872) was marked that the type constraint was that a street had to be a geographical object in order for it to be a location. Adding the subclass to street seemed to solve the problem. How else can this be solved? --WiseWoman (talk) 17:19, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
This seems like a false positive issue with the constraints themselves, I've just started a discussion on project chat here: Wikidata:Project_chat#Type_constraint_false_positives_(not_respecting_class_inheritance). --SilentSpike (talk) 17:55, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
It seems more like a problem with the item - it is describing both the building and the institution that resides in the building. --WiseWoman (talk) 20:59, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
