I saw that you deleted these elements, saying they where empty, but they wasn't: they at least had french and english names, and a French description, and I tagged numerous Commons pictures with them; what was the matter?

Hm strange that the item does not show up on the Special:EntityUsage page. This is where I usually check whether an item is in use in another Wikimedia project. On any item page, you can go to "Page information" in the left menu, e.g. here for Q96786496, and see subscribed wikis under "Page properties". I am going to investigate whether this is a bug or whether something has been changed.
Strange indeed; if these data are periodically refreshed, they may simply be out of sync.
Seems the problem is not new, and I did already stumble upon it once in the past—see phab:T225672 for details. Use of Wikidata entities via SDC is pretty much untraceable right now. The upcoming query service for SDC might solve this.

I just saw you deleted numerous items, apparently because of the same bug:
It took me hours to create these forestry items with at least a french label and description; most also have english and german labels. Some lack statements because I wasn't able to find good ones at the time, but most had related Wikimedia pictures, and all are existing forestry items; I know, I spent hours to check them and to find English and German translations to check that the concept was present in these languages as well. I was about to tag other Wikimedia pictures with some items, but am unable to do so now.
They are all restored now.
However, none of those items has any statements, thus they lack a definition. I will now nominate them for deletion via Wikidata:Requests for deletions, so that another admin will have another look. Please add statements to all of them in order to make sure that your items are actually useful for this project.
I don't understand: these items describe real life specific notions, which can easily be checked by a web search; isn't that enough to prove they exist? I would be happy to add statements, but had none at the time. I cannot devote more time to Wiki projects than I actually do, so I was unable to find and add relevant statements; are you implying that my work is destined to deletion because I'm not involved enough?
