You changed a lot of statements from owned by (P127) France (Q142) to French State (Q3591845). The item French State (Q3591845) is quite a weird one that seems to describe multiple things. Not sure if this is such a good improvement. See Dutch State (Q2024455) and Belgian State (Q4382980) for examples in other countries that seem to be more well defined.

As you might have seen at Wikidata_talk:WikiProject_sum_of_all_paintings#Louvre_paintings_missing?, I'm adding missing Louvre paintings and updating existing ones. The Louvre website also contains the current owner and this is often set to "Etat". So when we get this sorted out, I can import that too (and source it to the Louvre website).
