Presentation

I make contributions to Swedish wikipedia where I also am an admin (first election Sept 2018, re-elected July 2019, re-elected July 2020, re-elected July 2021, re-elected July 2022, re-elected July 2023). I started with doing minor updates like entering VIAF and MusicBrainz ID, time of death, and in some cases I have translated property descriptors to Swedish, but have later learned to create less complicated WD-objects at least for persons when I write new wikipedia articles. Frankly I still find WD overwhelming and maybe not so intuitive, but I continue to create simple objects and minor contributions and modifications.

I have highly appreciated the possibility to use the Swedish WikiData template {{faktamall biografi WD}} (appr: Template for biographic information from WikiData) when I create a Swedish wiki article about a person already present in e.g. enwp. In this way I get loads of information "for free" for the new article.

Please let me know if any of my contributions (directly or indirectly) simply are wrong or in any way improper, misleading or confusing.
