The goal of this page is to understand the nature of the relationship between news articles and the Wikimedia ecosystem.
The end goal of this analysis is to understand the if and how news articles can exist within wikidata to sustain claims made on wikipedia and possibly even extend beyond what's on wikipedia to enhance wikipedia editor's tool-set as a news agreegator and explorer for finding new hot topics that should be covered.
