Hello everybody,

I come from Germany and have some experience in the administrative divisions across Europe and all kinds of country related data. I make my living in the IT business and know quit a few data and file format related W3C and ISO standards including Unicode.

I was working in the de:wp for many years in the past mainly backstage in the area of Templates and Categories. Wikidata to me is one of the biggest moves Wikipedia did since it's start.
