My name is Fred Johansen, and I am the developer of EventZoom, a type of website for browsing historical events on maps zoomable from the scope of years down to single days or hours. It can also import data from Wikipedia through the Wikidata API.

Although I edit information that may be interesting for use in this, there is no conflict of interest. My only aim here is to help in keeping the data as accurate as possible – and therefore naturally support Wikipedia's principles of the openness, neutrality and verifiability of information.
Personal interests: Programming, knowledge representation, maps and history.
