I'm Alessandra Longobardi, independent librarian based in Genova, Italy. As a cataloguer I have mainly dealt with rare printed books from the 1600s to the early 1900s, plus some music and theatre programmes, which made me start anonymously making little edits to Wikipedia. As an information literacy instructor, I have used Wikipedia to introduce secondary school students to the concepts of reliable and diverse sources, citation, and to participation in knowledge building. I participate in the Wikidata project Bibliografia ligure with the University Library of Genoa.
