The aim of Wikidata phase II is to facilitate auto-translation to Wikipedia infobox templates. The aim of this WikiProject is to identify good examples of Wikipedia infoboxes and Wikidata items as use cases for phase II of Wikidata. to map and harmonize Wikidata properties to common infobox parameters. to suggest new Wikidata properties that are useful for auto-translation of Wikipedia infobox data. to suggest and list Phase II bot activities for collecting data from specific infoboxes and external sources. Infobox inclusion and changes of the current infoboxes should be discussed on the infobox talk pages on the Wikipedias. This is the list of entities (also known as domains, or high level entities) used by the Integrated Authority File (Q36578) (GND). The "type" parameter is also used by the German and Polish Wikipedia Template:Authority control (Q3907614) templates. The Wikidata:WikiProject Infoboxes is based on these entities. Till summer 2013 they were used as Wikidata main types of item (Property:P107). Properties for persons The entity “Person” comprises individual persons as well as families and fictive persons. This project concerns itself with any social entity with a collective goal - organization (Q43229). This is the parent class of many different organizations types that have their own separate existence. Going down (more refined) from here, all organizations might be divided into two groups Organizations typically counted in GDP Organizations not typically counted in GDP From there they may be further sub divided, for example: Organizations typically counted in GDP company (Q783794) association or collection of individuals, whether natural persons, juridic persons, or a mixture of both government organization (Q2659904) any organization that is administrated by a government authority or agency nonprofit organization (Q163740) organization that uses its income to achieve its goals rather than distributing it as profit or dividends. Each of those types might also be subdivided, for example, company (Q783794) might be further differentiated into separate industry groupings. Properties for events The entity “Event” comprises congresses and other events with commercial, scientific, sport or other topics. Individual events are included as well as series of events. Properties for creative works The entity “Works” comprises visual arts such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography and applied arts as well as performing arts such as music, theater or dance. Properties for places Geographical features can be natural or artificial geographical features. The natural geographical features include landforms waterbodies and ecosystems. The artificial geographical features include human settlements, engineered constructs, and also territorial organizations.
