Main type of item property values
editColumn 2 shows the allowed values of Property P107, main type of item. These were suggested at Property talk:P107, and may be discussed there. Mange01 (talk) 10:10, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Please also take a look at: Wikidata:List of properties. It's the main page for description and function of properties. --Kolja21 (talk) 19:30, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
What kind of entities?
editPerson, organization, work, place - Real? Virtual? How about such classification ("Space" and "Objects") 1) Space (Frame of reference, Coordinate system, The space of the existence of objects, Area, Areal, Range and so on) 2) Objects of such space. "Subentities" (hierarchy): 1) Matter:Space/Matter:Objects (Physical objects) -> 2) Brain:Space/Brain:Objects -> 3) Virtuality:Space/Virtuality:Objects (virtual objects) -> 4) Mathematics:Space/Mathematics:Objects. For example, Subatomic particle - Physical objects, Real person - Physical objects, Virtual person - Virtual objects. Idea - Brain:Objects, Real work (by this idea) - Physical objects. Point - Mathematical object. Or may be w:Category:Objects ? Fractaler (talk) 09:00, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- See Wikidata:Infoboxes task force, the discussion on a few dozen other pages, and Property talk:P107. --Kolja21 (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wikidata:Infoboxes task force is ok, I think. Thanks Fractaler (talk) 08:24, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

editHi! I see no chance to have a good end of authority control usage via Wikidata if Wikidata neglects the main goals, readmaps and strategies of Hantional Library of Germany and de.Wikipedia. There should be a new attempt to add a property which would be used as a qualifer for GND identifier values. לערי ריינהארט (talk) 13:46, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

missing, empty or ? |
during editing unknown value |
Bevor du das Rad neu erfindest, wirf mal ein Blick auf die bereits existierende Liste. --Kolja21 (talk) 23:21, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- missing, empty or ? should be detected with constraint violations. These cases needs to be fixed in another (editing) step. לערי ריינהארט (talk) 02:17, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
--Kolja21 (talk) 02:43, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Autotranslate
edit@Michgrig: Do we need autotranslate for this template? As far as I see, there is only one recent translation (into German). I would like to shut down autotranslate for this template. --Kolja21 (talk) 12:13, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
