RfB stuff edit

Hey, while I'm sure that you're assuming this anyways, I'd like to clarify that I wasn't specifically ignoring consensus developed in the earlier discussion when accepting by bureaucrat nomination/filing the request. Most of that pointed towards not needing bureaucrats at the time when Wikidata was just starting and had no local community. It was also never closed, mainly because it never attracted enough discussion to form any broad consensus. I was hesitant to even open it, since it is only a couple of months after the project opened, but I figured that if Sven was going to do that, it would be better to have a couple of people in the role to prevent it from becoming an insta-dictator package. Just so you don't think me as one of the people here to just grab as many hats as possible, people whom I admit are present here... Ajraddatz (Talk) 17:36, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

For what it's worth, I consider yourself and Sven into a different bracket because a) when the time is right you would both make ample use of those tools and b) I have seen Sven in action on several projects, his approach to discussions is consistent regardless of whether or not he is an admin, and you seem to be in a similar mould. I think you both made a bad call in running, and the follow-up proposals arguably made it worse, but that's life – I've made far worse ones on Wikipedia and elsewhere. But as you say, there are others out there whose desire to put Wikidata first is not as clear-cut. —WFC19:09, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Football stats edit

Guess we'll have to wait until properties are able to be quantities rather than other items. Once that happens, maybe we could have several properties for each appearence and goal stat? League apps, Cup apps, Friendly apps, and total apps etc. Same for goals. That way different language projects can pick and choose which stat to use in their infoboxes. Eventually it may break down into individual seasons, though I'm wondering just how long Wikidata item pages will be once every single property has been added. What would make a "Featured Item"?
