"Works" vs "Editions" edit
Hello Радион. Thank you for contributing to Wikidata. I appreciate your work here.
I saw that you added s:en:The Army and Navy Hymnal/Hymns/Peace, Perfect Peace to Мир, полный мир! (Q59944653). I saw that you also added s:ru:Мир, полный мир! to Мир, полный мир! (Q59944653). This is not correct because s:en:The Army and Navy Hymnal/Hymns/Peace, Perfect Peace is not the same as s:ru:Мир, полный мир!.
I have fixed it for you. I split Мир, полный мир! (Q59944653) into three different items. The three items are:
- Peace, Perfect Peace (Q59956825) is a hymn (a poem, a literary work). It was written in English by Edward Henry Bickersteth in 1875.
- Peace, Perfect Peace (Q59957103) is a published copy (an edition) of Peace, Perfect Peace (Q59956825). It is a chapter of the book The Army and Navy Hymnal (Q19078453). It is also in English. It was published in 1920. It is linked to s:en:The Army and Navy Hymnal/Hymns/Peace, Perfect Peace.
- Мир, полный мир! (Q59944653) is a translation of Peace, Perfect Peace (Q59956825). It is written in Russian. The translator is not known. It was first published in Q16641014 in 1902. It is linked to s:ru:Мир, полный мир!
In the future, please create separate Wikidata items for each of the following:
- The original work
- Each translation of the work
- Each published copy of the original work
- Each published copy of a translation of the work.
