Ministros edit

Hola DEGA8. Saludos.--Luccnoir (talk) 06:32, 29 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

suicide of Ajax edit

Tecmessa was not present at the suicide of Ajax. She discovered the corpse after the fact. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:27, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Where are you finding the "official museum label" for Attic Red-Figured Kylix 86.AE.286 (Q125157129)? It does not appear as "official" on the linked website from the museum, and is not the label used at Commons for the category. It is listed as an "alternate title", not the official one. --EncycloPetey (talk) 22:30, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

You can see the museum label here: Commons:File:Wine Cup and Ritual Vessel (10455111166).jpg
The J. Paul Getty Museum uses two identifiers for ancient Greek pottery: a technical identifier (in this case Attic Red-Figured Kylix) that could be shared with many items, and a more unique descriptive label (Wine Cup with the Suicide of Ajax) that is displayed in the museum galleries. You can also find it in the official museum website in the Alternate Titles section. DEGA MD (talk) 22:38, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
That image is the legend on a display label, not the "official" label. Display labels are designed as explanations to the public, and are not the same the official labels for the museum collections. The official label appears in their online database. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:22, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
