Infobox neuron edit

Please vote for these proposals concerning the Wikidata Medicine project and the Neuron Infobox: Wikidata:Property_proposal/Term#presynaptic_connection_.28afferent.29. Thank you. --Tobias1984 (talk) 09:42, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

No opinion. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 14:40, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
If you don't want me to send you any more task force updates you can say so. I'm just trying to keep people updated and things rolling. --Tobias1984 (talk) 19:17, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
No thanks for the update. I appreciate them. Just no opinion on this one. I guess I will need to figure out just how Wikidata works at some point. Any progress on the "number of medical articles in different languages" bit?Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 19:40, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

A little weird edit

Just curious: In [1] you're logged in to this account, your signature text is "Doc James", but your signature contains a link to User:Jmh649 in it. Is there a particular reason why that's the link provided rather than to this user name? --Izno (talk) 16:53, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I need to fix my signature thanks. That was my old user name. Had it changed a while ago. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 17:22, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Should be good now Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 17:24, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

health specialty (P1995) edit

health specialty (P1995) is ready. --Tobias1984 (talk) 11:14, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

User:Tobias1984 Wonderful. Next we need a bot to bring the data over from EN Wikipedia. Are you able to build one? Or do I need to find someone? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 13:08, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
How many values are currently on en-wiki? If it is below 100 it might be easier to do it by hand. - Otherwise: I haven't had the time to learn pywikibot yet, so we need to ask someone. --Tobias1984 (talk) 15:15, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Probably 1000. I will try to get someone to do it. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 19:54, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
The information of cataract displayed in Reasonator looks pretty good already. I wonder how more descriptive we could get these pages: https://tools.wmflabs.org/reasonator/?q=Q127724&lang=en --Tobias1984 (talk) 22:10, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

I think this is a good place to start the discussion about importing the PMID data, that we talked about: Wikidata:WikiProject Source MetaData --Tobias1984 (talk) 21:58, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

On the talk page yes. I will post something. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 09:41, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Open infectious disease guide edit

Hey there! I'm a physician and researcher at the University of Cologne. Yesterday I had a conversation with Jens Ohlig from Wikimedia Germany about a project I am working on. Supported and partly funded by the German Society for infectious diseases we are creating an open platform (based on mediawiki and hopefully wikidata) with information on how to diagnose and treat the most prevalent infectious diseases. We call it 'infektiopedia'. Jens recommended talking to you :) Currently most of our documents are in German so I cannot share much at this point but happy to have a call and talk about the project. --Max.schons (talk) 09:37, 6 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
