For the sake of simplicity would it not be better that we keep seperate items for both narrative universes? Even if there is a bit of overlap

Galaktos (talkcontribs)

Uh, could I have some context for this question?

Trade (talkcontribs)

You added Half-Life universe to Portal characters

Arlo Barnes (talkcontribs)

I put 'said to be the same as' on each universe item since from what I understand, there are not significantly more discrepancies or less overlap between installments across the two series than there are typically between works in a single narrative universe.

Galaktos (talkcontribs)

How can you write that it’s a single narrative universe and then still have two items? That makes no sense to me. Sure they’re two different series, but that’s a separate property…

Arlo Barnes (talkcontribs)

Were they not already created, I would have created one item, personally. Since they already were created (not by me), I'm hesitant to merge them, although I'll note that the half-life Fandom link does combine the concepts. If you or someone else does go to merge them, you'll have to first remove the 'said to be the same as' properties I added, since the presence of such statements means that special:mergeitems refrains from proceeding as a safeguard.

Galaktos (talkcontribs)

I guess I either wasn’t aware of the dedicated Portal item back when I made whatever those edits were (must’ve been years ago) or it didn’t exist yet. I don’t think I care enough now to keep arguing about it… if you want to discuss it, maybe Wikidata:WikiProject Video games would be a better place for it?

I already took the survey. And why am I being addressed by an apparently random jumble of letters and numbers (“V7p6u4spgelecgut”, “V70d8339cyxsph05”) instead of my user name?

A belated thank you for the deletion request for P6270.

Galaktos (talkcontribs)

You’re welcome! I’m just glad it worked – I really didn’t make a good case :/

Hi. What is your stance now on this and this past action(2015) of yours removing version history from Minecraft? Is this something you consider that you would continue doing in the future? Hope this does not inconvenience you ~~~~

Galaktos (talkcontribs)

Well, one month later I asked whether old version statements should be removed, and the answer was no, they should stay. So I would not continue to do this, no.

Reply to "deleting version information?"

Hello!

Like some other community members, you are using Flow.

An increasing number of communities now use Flow or are considering it. Although Flow itself is not scheduled for major development during 2016 fiscal year, the Collaboration Team remains interested in the project and in providing an improved system for structured discussions.

You can help us make decisions about the way forward in this area by sharing your thoughts about Flow — what works, doesn't work or should be improved?

Please fill out this survey (available in multiple languages), which is administered by a third-party service. It will not require an email or your username. See our privacy statement.

Thanks for your ideas and opinions about Flow!
