Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Graffiti/ vandalism items

Hi, I noticed that you created a number of items about individual instances of graffitis and/ or vandalism. I am not sure they fit into the scope of Wikidata (cf. Wikidata:Notability) but think that, in any case, start time (P580) should not be used on them, so I removed these statements. I also think that your labels and descriptions need more work — while "graffiti" may be OK for a description, the label should be more specific (e.g. "graffiti on wall near X street, Y city". --Daniel Mietchen (talk) 21:21, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

We would rather use inception (P571) than start time (P580) in those cases, but finding sources for that, getting verifiability would be difficult I guess. Hi! Ok no problem for me, I haven't touched them because one of them was reported for deletion because it does not comply with the notability policy. So I would rather know whether it's possible to store that kind of data here before doing more work over something that would be deleted anyways. --GiordanoArman (talk) 16:43, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
