Welcome to Wikidata, Grantedo!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Merging edit

Hi, there is a very practical tool for merging items named Merge.js, please consult Help:Merge on how to do merges with the tool and list empty items for deletion. Regards, Capmo (talk) 11:55, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

What you were doing was not wrong, but with Merge.js it's much easier, as it merges the items and simultaneously lists the empty page for deletion. Best, Capmo (talk) 15:06, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I think I know what you did: next time you need to merge two items, instead of merging the links first and then manually nominating the page for deletion, use the "merge item with..." tab on the top of the page. Capmo (talk) 15:21, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
